ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Bob Prouty was born in Oshawa, Ontario, August 15, 1951, the son of Stewart and Violet Prouty. His early years were spent living in the country and exploring the woods with his brothers and sisters. After completing his M.A. in educational administration at Andrews University in 1978, he and his wife, Diane, went as missionaries to Zaire, where they spent the next six years. Their mission service was cut short by an accident, which this book relates, but they hope someday to return to Africa and continue their service.
